Don’t Flash Your Underwear
Statement outwear tends to work best when turning the volume on your underwear down a tad. Mixing pastel shades with neutral tones and blacks and whites or anything toned down really will give the outwear a chance to shine by its own reflected light. Team large checks with plainer items of underwear and feel free to experiment with more textural materials such as denim, silk and cashmere as long as the fit is good.
