Calvin Klein Campaign – Was Justin Bieber Photoshopped?

Was Bieber Photoshopped?

His Calvin Klein campaign had Twitter buzzing that the shots had been heavily photo shopped. And now a website has revealed what it claims is an untouched photo of Justin Bieber posing in his white Calvin’s displaying less muscle mass and a significantly smaller package.

American media sources shared a comparison of the snap alongside the bigger and buffer looking pop star on its Instagram account and the differences are strikingly obvious. A source connected to the shoot said: ‘Bieber specified he wanted to look taller and buff. Bigger bulge implied.’

Not only does the Canadian crooner look smaller in the ‘original’ image, with less defined back muscles, biceps and thighs but his manhood region is considerably reduced in size. The claim comes shortly after Justin said his impressive-looking physique was all down to hard work.

The Boyfriend hit-maker said: ‘I work out with my trainer, Patrick Nilsson, five days a week for about 45 minutes each. We do three days splits: back and triceps one day, chest and biceps on day two, shoulder and legs on day three, and abs every other day.’

I’m Not On A Special Diet

‘I’m not on a special diet, but I do try to watch what I eat. I do eat unhealthy sometimes – I am a 20-year-old guy!’

No sooner had the 20-year-old pop star revealed the campaign photos on Tuesday than Twitter came alive with users pondering if Justin had a little help to make his muscles seem more defined.

In an accompanying video the singer looked markedly different compared to the final black and white photos. ‘They airbrushed Justin Bieber to the high heavens!’ One tweeter posted on Wednesday morning.

His abs do seem slightly more defined in the campaign shots compared to a softer appearance in the video co-starring Lara Stone. Another user tweeted: ‘They airbrushed a lot of muscle onto little Justin Bieber’.

Even Mark Wahlberg’s wife Rhea Durham shared on Twitter: ‘My baby was the 1st and the best and not to mention…..wow the retouching.’  Justin is known for working out a lot and has gradually built up his muscle with body building over the years.

The new campaign was launched to reveal the Spring 2015 Calvin Klein Jeans and Calvin Klein Underwear collections.  The images were shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott in New York City.

The campaign continues the brand’s association with music and pop culture, which began with the famous shots of Marky Mark (Wahlberg) and Kate Moss back in the Nineties.

‘Given my on-going relationship with the house, this shoot reunited me with my Calvin Klein family – and it was really fun working with Justin,’ said Stone.

‘We had a great time on set and we had a lot of fun shooting the campaign. I think the shoot really captured the energy of the Calvin Klein brand.’
