This is just a short intro about me. My name is Gary Talbot and I am Ireland’s first leading male model. I began my journey into the fashion industry almost 2 years ago when I was spotted with Mr Tyson Beckford who I have remained in contact and call a friend. Days after being spotted by Tyson I was flown to London where I walked LC:M shows and my whole life changed.
Tom Ford
I have done private castings with clients such as Versace and Rag and Bone and many more. I thought I had reached my limits in this industry until I met with fashion royalty Mr Tom Ford and the media leaped into my life. I have so much lined up for this year and already have plans to enter the TV and Entertainment market. I have just signed a deal with American entertainment management called Savage and we have big plans this year to hit the USA with huge projects. I have such love for fashion. As a young teen I would dress how I felt.
My Favourite Look Right
My favourite look right now is the hipster style but I also love the bespoke classic groomed look. I feel men’s fashion has grown hugely in the past year and I’m excited to see the future in fashion. I read a lot of magazines and blogs to see what direction fashion is heading and try imagine my look in these outfits to find my perfect style. Right now I’m loving the metallic fabrics and strong patterns. One of my favourite designers in Alexander Nash NYC because they give that classic bespoke look with an edge there designs are very unique and really show a lot of personality but still hold a lot of class.
I feel fashion is an art form where you can show many different sides of your personality and it is the first thing people notice. High street fashion for men is also growing very quickly with stores like Topman and River Island, where people can afford these looks and have a large range of products to choose from. The year 2014 is definitely the year for men’s fashion
