An ex McQ Alexander McQueen design intern and protégé Designer Euphemia-ann Sydney-Davies has gone on to launching her own edgy high fashion label after graduating in 2012. LICLILLV Spring/Summer 14 is the official launch collection for SYDNEY-DAVIES and showed in New York in July on the Africa Fashion Week runway.
In addition to being characterized by bold colour, impeccable tailoring, edgy paneling and kickass prints designed as a collaboration by Hungarian born artist Gabor Zolyomi of ‘Gallery of Tales’, a key and important aspect of this launch collection is the launch of the Leggo Shirts. A signature of Sydney-Davies it is sure to take the fashion world by storm. Here it is.
Shirts in the collection are completely de-constructible and interchangeable
All the menswear shirts in the collection are completely de-constructible and interchangeable. With the regular front button stand and a concealed back button stand, the shirts can be taken apart completely and reassembled. With impeccable tailoring and matching of prints this means the wearer can mix and match right or left halves to make his own unique concoction. This is an idea that could capture the attention of the biggest fashion names and consumers. The Leggo Shirt is a must have piece in every ‘cool kids’ wardrobe.
