With the quintessentially British male becoming ever more conscious about their appearance, Fielding and Nicholson like to look towards the finer things in life. With use of only the best cloth and lining from English suppliers, the classic British cut is upheld whilst looking forward to the upcoming fashion trends.
Styling Amore for Classic FM Event at Royal Albert Hall
Whilst styling the lovely chaps from Amore, the focus was on tradition and class. The elegant black suits fit in with the opulence of the Royal Albert Hall and add an extra touch of glamour to an already exclusive event. With the cloth for both suits being Super 100’s Black Twill, there was never any doubt that the garments would make even the most ardent of satorial haters fall in love with it.
When styling a new client, there are many aspects to take into account. Posture and body shape are the most obvious starting points when ‘weighing up’ a new client. It is important to know their expectations and what they want from a suit; is it purely for work, a wedding, social occasion or should it be multi functional. One aspect of our suits that our customers love is that is has a five year guarantee, so if they lose (or put on!) weight, alterations will be done free of charge.
A client’s skin tone and hair colour are important factors to take into account when deliberating over which cloth to use. Fielding and Nicholson offer a wide range of fabrics and linings, from the more traditional to the weird and wonderfully wacky! When choosing a new suit men should try to adhere to the following tips: Slim lapels, along with other fashionable cuts, may be in now, but, like white cars, they won’t be on trend forever! A ‘deep V’ neckline will narrow the shoulders giving a more balanced shape.
If you are looking for a functional suit for many occasions, then black may not be the colour. Dark grey is not as ‘morbid’, but still gives the wearer the opportunity to look smart and diverse. With Fielding and Nicholson, the client will be introduced to a fully bespoke service without the Savile Row price tag, but with a Savile Row cutter. Our professional clothiers travel to you to help you decide which suit would be best for you, saving you time in a busy working schedule. We can even come to your house if you prefer.
Spring Summer 2013
With Spring/Summer 2013 just around the corner, we are predicting a rise in ‘New Renaissance’, which combines classic shapes with decorative patterns. This will be alongside Avant Garde, 1930’s inspired cuts and a sophisticated style. Modern Artisan should also enter the frame with a bang, focusing on traditional design and superior quality.
While it is easy to go into an ‘off the peg’ suit store and hire one, the fit, style and material will be that of a far cheaper variety. One must remember that fashion is art which you live your life in – you wouldn’t hang bad art on your wall, so don’t hang it off your body!
The suits we offer are timelessly classy with all the added extras possible to choose from. The customer service is second to none and the aftercare which you receive is far higher than you could wish to receive elsewhere. Being a smaller, bespoke company, means that we can spend a lot more time and effort on what you want, how you want it and doing it properly. ”
