The Balkan nation is the 12th largest country on the continent in terms of size and has the sixth-largest population within the European Union. UNTOLD Festival
Held annually in the region of Cluj-Napoca, thousands of people regularly check out the UNTOLD Festival. This year’s event will take place between August 3-6, and will feature some of the biggest artists from the electronic dance music (EDM) scene. Previous editions have featured global artists such as the Black Eyed Peas, Armin van Buuren, Avicii, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. At the same time, this year’s event (the eighth to have been held) is scheduled to feature some of those names again, as well as Alesso and KSHMR and various sets. The experience that attendees obtain from the UNTOLD Festival is unlike any other, as they witness the best live music being played and the accompanying light shows that are put on to elevate the performances.
888Poker LIVE Bucharest
The fourth festival stop of 2023, the city of Bucharest will be again the host of the 888Poker LIVE tournament scheduled to be held between 8 and 14 August. The Palace of Parliament
The Palace of Parliament is one of Romania’s biggest landmarks and tourist attractions, as it is an architectural piece of art. It is located in Bucharest and has a lot of history behind it. Dracula’s Castle
If you thought the Palace of Parliament was one of the biggest reasons, it would be hard to understate Dracula’s Castle. Known as Bran Castle, this establishment sits on top of a hilltop in Transylvania and is believed to have inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula novel. Many visit the castle for its historical significance, while it is always nice to say you have witnessed where Vlad the Impaler allegedly lived.
Sinaia Monastery
The Sinaia Monastery is one of Romania’s most impressive architectural designs, and it is steeped in history. Founded in the 17th century and located in the Carpathian Mountains – which are worth a visit on their own – the monastery has numerous relics and artefacts to view that can give visitors an insight into the country’s history.
River Danube and the Danube Delta
The River Danube is the second-longest river in Europe, behind the Russian River Volga. While it is worth exploring, the Danube Delta is the biggest attraction. Visitors will see one of the continent’s most biodiverse areas, as it can be the home to thousands of different animal and plant species. Visitors can explore this part of the country through a boat tour, or they can go on guided hikes.
Black Sea Coast
