Mr Cooper’s House & Garden
Situated within the Midland Hotel, Peter Street, Manchester, Mr Cooper’s House and garden by Simon Rogan combines modern touches with the history and heritage of Mr Cooper himself. His house and gardens sat on the site of the restaurant back in 1819, before the hotel was built. Just to make you aware there is no house let alone a garden just in case you were looking for it as I was. The staff were nice and it had a calm atmosphere and I enjoyed watching others eat and drink. It is a place I would take business guest too especially if you have just closed a big deal. The setting is gorgeous and a must visit for either a drink or dinner. The menu is different and offers food choices that I have to say have an acquired taste.
Hand Dived, glazed scallops with caper, hazelnut and shallots
