Royal Albert Hall – Classic FM Versus Style

Royal Albert Hall – Classic FM Event 2013

I love the Royal Albert Hall.  www.royalalberthall.com It’s beauty in and outside states opulence, drama and theatre. So the fantastic line up, put on by Classic FM, was a perfect opportunity to dress up. You would think so.  So whilst observing the men flocking in for the evening. I noticed a difference when it came to classic FM versus style. What am I referring to?

Classic FM

I am talking about Classic style for men. It was very clear that the more mature man from the age of fifty dressed a lot more classic. They were well suited for this occasion. I mean their suits were timeless classics both in design and colour. Their accessories with the suits added an understated influence to what they were wearing. In some cases it was turning back the clock. They strolled with confidence showing others they respected the venue they were heading into. They knew what they were wearing was right for this occasion. These guys were certainly leading the pack when it came to men style and fashion.

Style

For me the younger man adopted the latest tight suit. Again grey being the dominant  color. Their shirts a tad simple but not advantageous at all. In fact I would say the guy under thirty was not confident or knew which way to style himself for this event. When approaching them they were quick to defend what they were wearing. Their confidence was not that dominant. They didn’t feel comfortable they felt uncomfortable. I could tell by their body language. The suits were wearing them.

Royal Albert Hall – What Should You be Wearing

Dress classic, dress style and go over the top. Three piece suits and keep the basic colors. Adventurous pin stripes suits. Over the top shirts with double collars. Or exaggerated sleeves and collars. Add loads of colour. Your accessories are a master piece in luring in the audience. Braces, chunky chains, cuff links with personality. Loud ties. Your shoes can vary from brogues with two tone colours. Jimmy Choo velvet slippers or spiky Christian Louboutin shoes. It’s up to you.
