Day 3 & 4 – Venturing Into London
The Head Lights
I don’t like driving at night. But during this week I chose to drive it at night. As I wanted to know if this Bentayga, would boost my confidence as a night driver. I was blown away with the lights and how strong they were in a rural dark villages driving up to central London. It was just brilliant when the high-beam lights dimmed automatically when a vehicle was coming the other way. I also loved the options in where you can set the interior colours to how you feel. It is a big trend in the car industry now. I also had rear and front cameras guiding me everywhere which also provided perfect vision at night. There was no excuse for hitting anything let alone anyone.
London Here A Come
I arrived in London at 6AM in the morning, I just wanted the least amount of traffic and also London is great to drive when it is dark. I was here to promote the Seven Dials Area near Covent Garden as a luxury destination to shop, eat and stay. The Bentayga would mostly be parked for two days but I did take her out at night, after all the capital is where she feels at home.
I stayed at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street hotel and the guys that worked there were amazingly helpful in getting the car parked. In the end I decided to do a quick photo shoot with them. What a better way to test this, by driving late at night through central London. Being the attention seeker that I am, I was now one of the most expensive driving DJ’s in central London. This took me back down memory lane as I use to be a DJ in the nineties.
In all my years of driving, this was one of those weeks that, I just pumped up that music and danced, danced whilst driving. At one stage I chose to play it so loud, my ears were ringing. That was a brilliant feeling.
