Jabra Elite Active 65t Wireless Earbuds – Travel In Style Reviewed

I am travelling around the globe for 2018. One of my trending colours for this summer season is gold. When I am travelling, I like to have as little as possible when it come to wireless technology. I also take note of what people are wearing when it comes to audio tech. Therefore, today I am travelling with, Jabra wireless earbuds, which come in a variety of colours such as gold earbuds to match my summer outfits, it is also a very versatile looking piece of kit. The more I travel, the more I use technology that is all about compact items that are a lifestyle choice.

The Jabra 65 Collection

The Jabra 65 collection of wireless headphones are focusing on 3 different areas:

  1. Jabra Elite 65t = Perfect Sound and Music quality
  2. Jabra Elite Active 65t = Sweat resistance and designed to be used in active sport environments
  3. Jabra 65e = High-quality total noise cancellation headphones

Engineered for the best true wireless calls and music experience, the Elite 65t is for those who want no wires to get in their way, and call quality that matches their music quality. Features up to 5 hours of battery charge (or 15 hours with charging case), and lets you personalise your music with a customisable equaliser. Instant access to Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant, and IP54 rated for water and dust resistance.

On this occasion I have opted for the Jabra Elite Active 65t which is sweat resistant and I am in South East Asia, so this is the perfect item to test out sweat tech. The humidity is unbearable here at the moment. I am also running a lot on the beach at resorts where the Jabra Elite Active 65t fits in with my active sporting lifestyle.

My Experience

I am travelling with lots of technology, so the compact case is perfect for my day pack and easy to find when I need it, either on a flight or whilst running. The best thing of all about this case is that the keep the earbuds charged. I can charge up the headphones twice with the case allowing for a total of 15 hours of listing before needing to recharge the whole set. The charging case uses Micro-USB which is handy as I have plenty of other items also using this. A little colour changing LED on the outside shows the charging status.

I love the gold look and it teams very well with my other gold accessories. The Jabra Elite Active 65t looks funky and nicely tucked away when I am wearing a hat.  As sound goes, they sound very clear with a deep rich base, and most importantly I hear my podcasts and nothing else. They feel very comfortable in my ears and never fall out, especially when I am running. In the past I used wired earphones when running on the treadmill and I can’t count the amount of time I accidentally hit the cable pulling the earphones out of my ear. So wireless is definitely the way to go, no strings attached.

I am in Vietnam at the moment which is a very loud culture and boy do the Vietnamese love their Karaoke. So when is comes to Jabra Elite Active 65t, they have become my new perfect beach buddy to shut out the noisy Vietnamese.

Jabra Elite 65e

Engineered for superior wireless calls and music with professional-grade ANC. The Jabra Elite 65e, is a brilliant way to communicate for calls. Especially when I am travelling which is alot and having to work in a loud cafe.
The Elite 65e uses active noise cancellation powerful enough to make busy cafés sound as quiet as a library.

Conclusion

The Jabra Elite Active 65t wireless earbuds are a perfect lightweight solution for tropical travel and the active lifestyle. Best of all they sound and look great, what more can I ask for.
