It was the first time I met Richard Stanley and I stood back for a while intrigued by who he was. I am at the Sitges Film Festival interviewing actors and directors. Richard is in Sitges to talk about his latest movie Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanle’s Island of Dr. Moreau. This movie is a behind the scenes chronicle of how clash of vision, bad creative decisions, lack of interest and really bad weather plagued the disastrous production of the infamous 1996 remake of The Island of Dr. Moreau.
The remake of the Island of Dr Moreau was also directed by Richard Stanley back in 1996, which featured Val Kilmer and Marlon Brando.
