The snack portions are generous, and I particularly enjoyed feasting on the Korean fried chicken while sipping a local beer.

It’s a wonderful spot for a marriage proposal. I observed an impressive balloon setup asking, “Will you marry me?” One can only hope the answer was a resounding yes.

The variety of food is boundless, including a selection of Korean favorites.

Due to an early flight, we found ourselves at breakfast by 6 am, greeted by a surprisingly large number of guests—Korean visitors are known for their early dining preferences. Breakfast runs from 6 am to 10 am and, despite the rush, the staff’s attentiveness and efficiency in serving us were remarkable.

Jjimjilbang Korean Wellness And Spa

What exactly is a Jjimjilbang at the Golden Luxury Spa? Having never explored a Korean spa and wellness centre, my family and I were curious and dedicated a few hours to discover what it offers. It quickly became one of my top spa and wellness retreats. The concept has completely captivated me and my teenage daughters.

The facility includes separate changing rooms for women and men, each with its own jacuzzi, which my daughters and I greatly appreciated for its privacy and comfort.

You don’t need to bring anything but yourself; everything you need is provided and explained. Unlike traditional Korean practices where nudity might be common, Wyndham Danang Golden Bay maintains a policy of modesty.

The Jjimjilbang experience encompasses several rooms designed for both hot and cold therapies. These range from an Igloo ice room with temperatures dropping to minus 7 degrees Celsius, to a volcanic rock room heated to a staggering 57 degrees Celsius, where guests lie on countless tiny volcanic balls.

It’s important to walk on designated paths to avoid slipping—a lesson we learned the fun way! The experience was not only enjoyable but also provided instant relief to sore muscles. For those interested in skincare or male grooming, the infrared cave is a standout, even helping clear my daughter’s acne significantly.

Volcanic Rock Room

The golden sauna room invites you to recline and immerse yourself in the intense warmth of 47 degrees Celsius. In all these therapy rooms, guests are provided with a towel and a special outfit at reception for lying down comfortably. While there is a communal area for interacting with family and friends, the emphasis on wellness encourages a quiet atmosphere at all times, enhancing the serene experience.

The two-bedroom suite was the key to our family’s relaxing vacation. Currently, hotels serve as my home, and this suite met every need for my family of four, offering us comfortable accommodation. It featured a spacious living/dining area with a stunning view of the bay, perfect for mornings when I needed to work early. The kitchenette proved invaluable for room service and storing snacks for my children, allowing us to eat without cluttering the space.

The inclusion of laundry facilities was a significant perk, given how quickly laundry accumulates in a family. For those planning an extended stay in Da Nang, this 72m2 suite is perfectly suited for both business and leisure travelers. Additionally, the view of Wonder Park, a miniature European landmark, provided great entertainment for the kids and added enjoyment to our stay.

The suite featured two bathrooms, which proved to be incredibly convenient for my two teenage daughters. I appreciated the thoughtful placement of the first bathroom, discreetly located at the start of the corridor, allowing me to use it without disturbing anyone.

Entering the bathroom, I was delighted by the luxuriously spacious bathtub, complemented by a panoramic view of the bay.
