Now that the best of British summer has passed, it’s time to put away the Birkenstocks and bring out the Barbour jackets. The transition from summer to autumn fashion can be confusing and often make it difficult to stay on trend, especially with the unpredictable British climate.

The runway has proven that workwear is still a very prominent trend for AW19, GQ reports that biggest trends for this season will be long puffer jackets, ankle boots and everything shearling, fabrics from previous seasons are still bigger and than ever.

Autumn style doesn’t have to just be camel tones and cashmere jumpers, it can be tailored to your own preference whether your wardrobe is mainly workwear or streetwear.  At the Hermes show, we saw a pattern of black brogues and boots, Dior was similar to their all-black looks and textured fabrics.
