Now that the best of British summer has passed, it’s time to put away the Birkenstocks and bring out the Barbour jackets. The transition from summer to autumn fashion can be confusing and often make it difficult to stay on trend, especially with the unpredictable British climate.
The runway has proven that workwear is still a very prominent trend for AW19, GQ reports that biggest trends for this season will be long puffer jackets, ankle boots and everything shearling, fabrics from previous seasons are still bigger and than ever.

Barbour Byward wax jacket- £229
British heritage brand Barbour celebrated 125 years this year, with the iconic badge on the left arm and corduroy collar. This jacket is heavily inspired by motorcycle culture, the technical features of this jacket include eyelets on the underarms for ventilation.
