If you don’t know him, you will hear from him very soon. Elton John, Robin Williams and Madonna wear his jackets and travel with his bags. Emiliano Donaggio is a painter, sculptor and fashion designer born on 27 January 1975 in Venice where until today he lives and creates with a big success. His Italian style is extravagant, ideal for the strong artistic individuals, based on the recycled materials and inspired by the graffiti and Andy Warhol’s art. The mixed colours, inscriptions and dates create his own microcosm of the apparent disorder. Elements such as the date of his birth or the words: KILLER, ART, HELP, CROCODILE (an allusion to the Elton John’s song), ADIDAS, LOVE, WAR, FINISH, NO PROBLEM and so on repeat frequently.
Pop Art Postmodern Prophet
His style is a fantastic soup of various influences. The artist is a kind of pop art postmodern prophet, foretelling the chaos of the present and expresses our confusion and loss in the world of extremely heterogeneous world of fashion, music and images. Gentlemen, this is the future of the most extravagant and poetically sublime fashion ever! His “intelligent” bags, “full of meanings” sneakers and “tempting art” bags do not go unnoticed, are remarkable, one of a kind. No wonder, the world celebrities reached for his works.
I asked Donaggio about his future style and look. “The most important thing is to be yourself and especially extravagant without following a specific format. I do not know if my style will change in the future but my art will bring for sure new emotions and new sensations. I am the artist that always is looking for something new to be shared with absolutely everyone, with people who love what surrounds us, nature. That is the basis of everything”. To Men Style Fashion the Venetian designer confessed that his job definitely will move abroad permanently.
The next exhibition will be in London and then he will start to work with India, China, UAE and Russia.
