Who is a GIBS Guy?

These are the exact words that introduce GIBS Grooming on their website. Pretty intense right?
Today, I have the opportunity to review a selection of their products in the aim of providing you, our audience, with some honest feedback. I’ll be assessing the products briefly with the following criteria; Fragrance and Effectiveness.
Man Wash BHB (Beard, Hair & Body)
Description

Opinion
So this product is intended to be a ‘in a rush’ style shower gel that pretty much works with any region of your body. Having showered with it once, I think the only aspect that stood out was the smell. It smell amazing… like seriously amazing. Apart form that though, it didn’t feel different than other all-in-one shower washes. I do like the name though.

Opinion
I’ll admit, I didn’t use the shaving gel to its full capability as I have a beard of my own and wasn’t planning on converting back to clean shaven any time soon. I did however, use the gel to shape my beard and take away the ruggedness. I have to say, once again, the smell wins! (They’re pretty good at making it smell like heaven) but I’m struggling to find something with its functionality that truly stands out from other shaving creams.
Stiffy ‘Stache and Mohawk Glue
Description
This new styling product is designed to keep hair hard and stiff all day long. It’s essentially a dual-purpose, extreme-hold adhesive to set ‘staches and upper spikes, while maintaining a rock hard style. Featuring ginseng and dragons blood, this dude glue strengthens and stimulates limp, lifeless hair, giving any style an unbreakable edge, while at the same time improving the overall health of hair follicles and cells to encourage growth. It also contains antimicrobial, antioxidant and astringent properties to keep bacteria at bay and allow skin to hold onto the beneficial properties. It features a combination of citrus, white cedar and absinthe, as well as clove, black pepper and smoky tobacco.
Opinion
So this product is something I’d seen around before but never actually tried. I kinda don’t have enough of a ‘stache to warrant the use of gel. Despite this, I gave it a go. The first thing I noticed was the smell because I was applying it right under my nose. This time, the smell wasn’t… how can I say it…. great. It was more of an industrial smell. In way a kind of liked that smell. Somehow it made me feel like once set, the gel would never move again, which, I guess is the aim!
Hitman Texurizing Spray
Description

Opinion
I’ll be honest and say I’ve never seen a beard texurizing spray before. This was truly original in my eyes so I was very excited to see what it was all about. I sprayed its all over my beard and rubbed it in with my fingers as opposed to my hands. I’d say, of all the Gibs product I have, this was easily the best. Smelled like 100% manliness, added great texture to my beard and 2 hours later, I’m still feeling the effects. Brilliant.

I wanted to also mention that I got a Gibs bullet. Pretty awesome.
